Location: Brighton, Michigan (Island Lake Recreation Area)
Length: 4 hour Adventure Race
Disciplines: Trail Running, Mountain Biking, Canoeing & Orienteering
4 Divisions: 4-person Coed, 2-person Open, 2-person First-Timer (at least 1 teammate), and Family (No paddling in this division. Parent/Child 8-14 year old..no charge for the kid!)
Who: Beginner to Experienced Adventurers!
Racer Check-In: 7:00am to 7:45am
Race Briefing: 8:00am
Race Start: 9:00am
Race Cutoff: 1:00pm
Post Race Food with Prizes & Giveaways: 1:15pm following race finish.
1/11/18 to 3/17/18 = $85.00 per person (+ small online registration fee)
3/18/18 to 4/21/18 = $90.00 per person (+ small online registration fee)
Registration will open on Jan 15, 2018 and remain open until 2 weeks prior to the race, or unless we reach capacity. Full team payment is due when team captain registers the team.

Entry fee includes canoe rental, swag, and post race food. Entry is limited to the team limits noted above.
Orienteering in the dark. An overnight rogaine. A mud run with no defined course and 100% certified organic obstacles. A choose your own adventure…with headlamps! Select from 2 or 4 hours or go all night with the the 8 hour and finish with breakfast!
New for the 2018 Season, TurtleHead Paddle-O, a 3 Hour Paddle-O (Canoe/Kayak Orienteering Event) in Southeast Michigan. Competitors will locate Orienteering Controls via Canoes/Kayaks, in an all optional format throughout Kent Lake at Kensington MetroPark. All Canoes/Kayaks will be provided by Heavner Canoe Rental, no personal canoes/kayaks permitted, however you may bring your own personal paddles.
